Applied for your U.S. Passport yet?

Planning on a sexy vacation at Desire or Hedonism II next January? A Caribbean Cruise or any tour in 2007?Good thing you’ve applied for a passport. What? You haven’t?Better get with it then, or you could be in for an unpleasant surprise. Beginning January 7, 2007, all citizens of the United States, Mexico, Canada and Bermuda must possess a valid passport to enter or re-enter the U.S.This requirement applies to air and sea travel to or from Canada, Mexico, Central and South America.

Further, beginning January 1, 2008 a passport will also be required for land border crossings between the U.S. and Mexico or Canada. Obtaining or renewing a passport is easy, but it is foolhardy to wait as it is highly likely that there will long delays as the deadline approaches and the Department of State is flooded with applications. Go to www.travel.state.gov, click on “Passports” and all the information you need is provided, including downloadable application forms.
